Unfinished protest song by Simon Oak.
Yesterday, 15 Dec. 2025, the ‘Proud’ US Army mass murdered eight more innocent people at sea by destroying their boats. To impress the world, these ‘bold soldiers’ show us how they ‘risked their lives for the defence of their great nation’. Their Führer will be proud of them!
I was working on a melody, but I decided to leave the song unfinished (for now), because it’s too far off from what I like to sing. It would fit a death metal band better, I guess. Feel free to use the words for a song of your own and when it’s ready, I’ll be happy to share it here.
Lyrics
I used to have a heart
It’s gone, that’s how it feels
I have an ear
It listens to commands
I have an eye
It spots the boats at sea
I have a hand
It moves the joystick
I have a finger
It presses the button
I have a voice
It celebrates the hit
I have a leg
It makes me stand up
I have a chest
It wears a Welcome Medal
I have a stomach
And it wants more
But I have a head
It wakes me up at night
I have a mouth
It screams in my sleep
I used to have a heart
It’s gone, that’s how it feels.
